Hey ! Ur mockup is really good.

But why do u want to display the time and date at the top ?

And do u really want to display ur footer that prominently ? I mean, the Valid content is too prominent for me.

BTW, feels really good that we have people using GIMP to create serious designs. Keep up the good work mate :)

I like it small :)
I don't like 12px fonts or higher.. do you think it could be good if I set an higher font size?
