subject: openSUSE logo
software: adobe photoshop CS3
I recently installed openSUSE 10.3 on my laptop.
I wanted to share with all of you a little artwork I made.
It is quite simple, but I've found it really clean and professional.
The background is 100% SUSE original, and can be found here.
The openSUSE logo and the geeko logo are made by me.
You can find the Cholla LogoType [for Windows] at this link.
Geeko official logo is available for download in PNG and SVG format at SUSE-art.org.
Logo brushsets for Adobe Photoshop are made my be and available at this link.
Only 1440x900 pixels resolution. Sorry...
I hope you like it.
I have experienced the OpenSource world with Linux Ubuntu since May '07.
This is the second Linux distro I am using, and I am pretty glad about it [but it's just 24 hours I have installed it!].
I have found some hardware troubles with my laptop [ACER Aspire 3053]: the HDA ATI SB450 doesn't work [audio device] and the 3D effects of the ATI Radeon 1100 are not enabled.
But these things were the same with Ubuntu, where I've fixed them with a few hours of work.
Now I have got to do the same with openSUSE 10.3... but I've been amazed by the installation process: it's simple, clean and very professional.
I quite like this distro, but I'll be able to have a more complete opinion about it when I'll spend some more time with it
See ya!

As I explained within the deviation comments:
The background is 100% SUSE original, the openSUSE logo and the geeko logo are made by me [using these brushes].
